Our commitment
We aim to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA where practical across buyer, seller, checkout, and authentication experiences. Accessibility is an ongoing effort — new features are reviewed for keyboard navigation, visible focus, semantic structure, and sufficient color contrast.
Features we prioritize
- Skip-to-content links on primary apps
- Keyboard-operable checkout, sign-in, and cookie consent dialogs
- Form labels, error announcements, and focus management in auth flows
- Responsive layouts that support zoom up to 200% without loss of content
- Alternative text on product and profile imagery where provided by sellers
Known limitations
Third-party embeds (Stripe payment fields, seller Pagelets on external sites) follow their providers' accessibility support. Seller-uploaded listing content may vary in quality. We continue to improve dashboard data tables, map-based address inputs, and rich-text editor tooling.
